Meet Your Instructor

Elizabeth Abbey, Ph.D.

Elizabeth Abbey is an associate professor and chair of the undergraduate health sciences department at Whitworth University. She has a Ph.D. in Nutrition in Sport and Chronic Disease and is also a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) and Certified Health and Well-being Coach through Wellcoaches. She loves (in no particular order): moving her body every day, any combination of peanut butter and chocolate, her spouse and two corgis, doing crossword puzzles on actual newspaper, church potlucks, improv, and coaching people toward a life of flourishing.
