Payment and Refund Policies:
The information below applies to Whitworth LEARN professional development courses or programs.
Payment
Participants will be prompted to provide full payment information upon acceptance into their selected program(s). Participants must pay for the program by credit card. Participants will receive access to course materials on the first day of the course or program.
Participants should register as early as possible to attain a place in the program, since there are a limited number of participants in each course or program.
Refunds and Withdrawals
To withdraw from a program, participants must do so in writing by emailing [email protected]. Participants may withdraw from a course at any time, but withdrawal will result in the loss of access to course or program materials and the digital badge reflecting completion of the course or program, absent extenuating circumstances that Whitworth reserves the right to consider in its sole discretion. The below circumstances will result in refund amounts as follows:
- Participants who withdraw more than fourteen (14) days prior to the start date of a course or program will be refunded 50% of the full tuition cost.
- Participants who withdraw less than fourteen (14) days prior to the start of a course or program, or who withdraw on or after the start date, will not receive a refund and all tuition will be forfeited.
Financial Aid
As these are not credit-bearing programs, Whitworth does not offer federal financial aid. A limited number of scholarship dollars are available for prospective Whitworth LEARN participants. To learn more about scholarship opportunities please email [email protected].
Program Cancellation
In rare circumstances, Whitworth must cancel a LEARN program or course. In the event of a cancellation, Whitworth will refund program full tuition that has been paid to date. Such refunds do not include any of a participantā€™s personal expenses related to program attendance, such as for technology, related course materials, or any similar fees or expenditures incurred related to a participantā€™s planned attendance.
