The Manufacturing Management Institute is developed and offered in partnership with Wagstaff to provide specialized training for new or developing managers.

This 11-week program equips participants with the skills and knowledge to effectively lead teams, manage operations and optimize processes in a manufacturing environment.

Upskill Your Workforce

With a curriculum and format designed by leaders and experts from across the manufacturing industry, you can upskill your existing workforce to fill management roles from within your organization. We've paired asynchronous courses with three in-person immersion experiences to give your employees in-demand skills that add immediate value to your company.

Real-World Application

All participants in the program are current employees in the manufacturing industry. They learn alongside each other, bringing real-world situations and problems to each session and applying their learning in their workplace.

Learn from an Expert

Wade Larson, D.M.

Wade Larson, D.M., is a workforce consultant and HR executive with 30 years of experience in strategy, leadership and talent management. Wade serves in multiple capacities, including as director of workforce development for Wagstaff, Inc.; an independent consultant; adjunct faculty for Whitworth University and Washington State University; and a member of several boards around the state. He works with leaders to inspire their people and build trust to achieve success personally and professionally. Larson holds a doctor of management in organizational leadership from the University of Phoenix, MBA from Willamette University and B.A. from BYU. He holds professional designations of SHRM-SCP from Society for Human Resource Management and as Executive Coach from Coach Training Alliance.

1 weekly class on Zoom on Tuesdays, 10-11 a.m. (Pacific Time).

Requirements

1-2 hours of coursework per week.

1 assignment due each week, culminating in a final portfolio.
